It’s also meant for those that would love to trek Uganda gorillas but want to drive less by flying into Kigali Instead of Entebbe International Airport. With this 3 Day Uganda Gorilla safari from Kigali, one gets to drive for only 4-5 hours from Kigali to Ruhija/Rushaga instead of the 8-9 hours from Entebbe International Airport to Ruhija.
DEPARTURE AND ARRIVAL
Pickup is from Kigali Airport or Airport in Kigali. Areas outside Kigali will attract a surcharge for the pickup. Departure Time; 7am, 8am, 9am
Monday to Sunday. Hotel pickups commence prior to this time.
Arrival back to Kigali.

YOUR TRIP ITINERARY
Pick up from Kigali Airport/Lodge to start your 3-Day Uganda gorilla safari from Kigali, journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey is very scenic and will take you through a country of a thousand hills to the Pearl of Africa. You cross over to Uganda at Katuna or Chanika boarder for a stop at Kabale town (Katuna) or Kisoro (Chanika) before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for overnight. Drive time: Approximately 4-5 hours Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner Lodging: Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Trekkers Tavern Lodge.
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after breakfast and with your packed lunch, you will walk to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking. Your guide will take you through all the dos and don’ts while with mountain gorillas and after that, you will be transferred to the starting point of your gorilla family. Please note that gorilla family allocation depends on your interests, fitness and age. You will be able to inform us of your interests and we will try to request for the gorilla family of your choice before you start the trek into the forest. Gorilla trekking can be strenuous and a certain level of fitness is required. Gorilla trekking can take from 30 minutes to three quarters of the day so one needs to prepare for both. Your guide will try to provide information about trees, birds and other wildlife in the forest until you reach a given gorilla family of gorillas. You will be allowed only one hour of photography and observing mountain gorillas as they go about with their daily day activities and then trek back to the park headquarters to pick your certificates and then dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Drive to Kigali Airport/Hotel after breakfast, you will be driven back to Kigali Airport for your flight or back to your Hotel in Kigali marking the end of your 3 Day Uganda gorilla safari from Kigali.
